Prompts: So, the first one is the one I'd really prefer if possible (I've never been this way, but alas, for once), BUT if you can't write it, I have provided various other prompts for you, also, you can write whatever you feel comfortable within the genres listed and I don't particularly care what it is, since I'm definitely more a genre kind of person.
(i) Nino is a Let's Player (but not a Pewdiepie clone, god damn, never that, but if you do go this route, I'm a fan of Achievement Hunter & the Game Grumps, so I'd prefer him to be a group based LPer)
(ii) Nino works for JAXA, though in what capacity, that is for you to figure out.
(iii) Nino is a criminal and part of a crew.
Prompts: Genres, situations, storylines, kinks, etc. I WOULD NOT like to receive: Copy-pasted from last year~ Porn (sex is fine if it fits into the context of the narrative, but I don't want straight porn & if you can just avoid it maybe?), "name calling" (unless it's sarcasm in a situation), magical age reduction (none of that "OMGZ, NINO'S A BABY" stuff because fuck that), unrealistic relationships (so, things like "OMG! I LOVE YOU TOO! LET'S HAVE SEX!"... Just no.), mpreg, everyone is gay/hetero, seme/uke dynamics, rape, teacher/student, and incest.
In terms of actual story-lines, I'd rather not get office AU or high school AU. Also, pure fluff and nothing else is out. A narrative that is purely romance (person a meets person and they fall in love and it's just about their mushy feelings for each other, and will they/won't they) is also out (I prefer it as a part, rather than a whole).
For added clarification, feel free to ask (through) the mod.
A side note for potential side pairings: Please no Sakurai/Aiba or Akanishi/Kame. Especially Akanishi/Kame. I like my actually married folks to remain married to who they are with in reality (ie. Kimura, Inocchi, Gussan, Akanishi, etc.)

Basically anything where Nino can show off his snarky affection for his bandmates is gold. I'm not picky. Slice of life with some light humor and just a little bit of heartbreak is my favorite, but anything that falls under comedy, (b)romance, drama is fair game. Endings do not always need to have perfect sunshiney happily-ever-afters. As long as there is some feeling of the characters having progressed emotionally over the course of the fic, it's perfectly fine to end it either happily or unhappily. Some suggestions below (in no particular order, and you may certainly write something that's not on the list if you feel like it):
-Nino is a fluffy cute cat... with a wicked set of claws and one of his bandmates has to babysit him.
-Sleazy car salesmen AU! (You can have them competing for sales of the year!)
-Anything involving one of the other members pulling a brilliant prank on Nino, for once!
-ANYTHING NON-AU. Behind the scenes in a photo shoot, show recording, PV making... anything non-AU will hit my sweet spot, and I especially enjoy stories where their relationship builds up throughout the years, but I realize it is harder to write for some people, so no pressure!
-If you can fit Jun in anywhere as the grudging fairy godmother figure who gives one of the main characters a complete makeover, BONUS!
-Circus AU, where Jun is the ringmaster who can never let Nino catch a break, and Nino (through some conniving) finds out about Master Jun's one great weakness (cough *backflip* cough)
-Any kind of tournament/competition that all five participate in.
-Arashi on a reality show.
- unrequited love. If you want to go the angst route, I adore love triangles. I especially adore the pining and self-sacrifice that comes with the unlucky one who is unrequited.
- infidelity. Sometimes, your heart just wants more than one person (Nino torn between two people he loves equally). Sometimes, the initial flame you had just dies down and you don't realize you're drifting apart until you meet someone else (Nino in an unhappy relationship, but then he meets Aiba, who becomes the best hour of every day for him; think Tokyo Tower, but give yourself the freedom to make it less heavy)
Prompts: Genres, situations, storylines, kinks, etc. I WOULD NOT like to receive:
Drug use, smoking, violence, kinky sex (it's okay to casually joke about handcuffs, but I'd rather not have three paragraphs dedicated to it, you know?), sci-fi (fantasy is okay, though), crossovers with Western fandoms (like HP, Twilight, Hollywood TV/movies etc etc; if you must do a crossover, keep it Japanese).

Aimiya/Ninoai would be my number one preference by miles and miles, but any Nino pairing within Arashi is technically doable. I can write romance, drama, fantasy, fluff, and little bits of melancholic humor. I like writing slice-of-life. Non-AU is okay, but AU tends to come more easily to me. I enjoy exploring the subtle hints of romance/camaraderie in the characters' everyday lives. I like writing the usual AU's: coffeehouse/bar, office, hospital, outdoors, vacation, food. I am also more than happy to do more exotic things like spies, mad scientists, fantasy/magic interwoven into normal human life (I'm less into supernatural things like vampires werewolves or "creatures" of that sort).
I WILL NOT write (pairings/friendships and prompts): Nino pairings outside of Arashi (including het). Aimiya that has to stay strictly "friendship only" (not that I don't see them as great friends in RL, but when it comes to the world of fic, my mind will invariably wander into non-platonic waters and I would appreciate having no restrictions on this pairing). No smut/kinky stuff in bed, sorry! No drama fics or crossover fics. No character death. I'm bad at sci-fi stuff like space/robot/dystopian AU's. I'm also bad at historical AU's. Also, I'm less inclined to write OT3/OT4/OT5 fic. I'd rather focus just on a specific relationship, whether it's romantic or platonic.

Pairings/friendships I'd like to receive: I adore Nino/anyone in Arashi, honestly. Not even kidding, pick any of the other four and I'll adore it. Any interactions with other groups, especially Kanjani8, Johnnys West and TOKIO are very welcome.
I don't have specific het preferences for Nino, but for supporting cast and Nino/lady friendships, I adore: Kitagawa Keiko (esp Keiko/Daigo), Ueto Aya, Becky, Toda Erika, Naka Riisa, Perfume, Anne, Mizuhara Kiko.
Also perfectly down with gen fic, but my preference is for a pairing.

Think classical musicians, staging a play or a musical (struggling actor!Nino!), visual artists (this would be great for Ohmiya - Nino the prickly gallery owner who is won over by artist Ohno~). Carnival/travelling fair AU. General day-to-day life AUs - working in an out-of-the-way council office, kindergarten teachers, fortune telling, real estate salesman, checkout operator - especially if any of this is combined with magical realism/folklore (China Mieville/Neil Gaiman/Cat Valente-esque). I also enjoy historical AUs - any period of Japanese history works great, but especially Meiji or Heian. Final Fantasy 7/8/9/10/12 crossovers are also EXTREMELY welcome.
I have a secret soft spot for coffee shop AUs of all kinds.
I'm a-ok with sex, of pretty much all stripes. Hurt/comfort, romance (bonus for awkward romance), happy endings. Threesomes/moresomes are great, no cheating though. - Aiba loved to tell Nino to use his Koro Sensei voice. But that one day, Aiba told Nino to also use Koro Sensei's ~tentacles~.
- Koro Sensei!Nino, though. Jun and Aiba loved Koro Sensei!Nino.
- Mediocre magician!Nino suddenly ran into a famous magician!Sakurai. Nino found out that Sakurai wasn't as good as people thought he was - Nino was better. What would Nino do?
- Nino and Jun were archenemies, they loved to compete against each other for everything. One day they were put into a situation where they have to work together to reach something they both desperately needed. Would they come over their differences (and super high prides) to actually work together?
- Nino and Aiba didn't know each other. All they knew was that they always took the same train home at the exact same time. Aiba noticed it first but it wasn't that Nino was oblivious to that. One day they finally got to actually meet each other in a wedding of a mutual friend. How will they relationship develop from there?
- Nino was sucked into a game of your choice. But let it be an adventure game where he had to rescue his princess (clue: Jun is the princess). I would love to read Nino's mixed emotion between being excited to actually be in a game and whiny because he had to do the adventure for real (clue: Nino knew Jun in his real life and not actually liked him. Also Aiba could be his sidekick. A helpful but annoying sidekick. Sho could be the last boss. Ohno for a good distraction?)
- Singer/songwriter!Nino meet artist/painter!Ohno? Uuu.
- Chibi Arashi AU (like they'll all are kindergarten buddies and they had to solve a mystery or whatever. Make it cute!)

If nothing above works for you, I'm a sucker for stories with:

Prompts: Genres, situations, storylines, kinks, etc. I WOULD NOT like to receive: I don't like anything that's explicitly violent. Also no genderswitch, no death character, no mpreg, no heavy angst (and big NO to heavy angst without resolution), no horror/ghost stories (but thriller is okay), and no historical AU please. Also no original characters although other actors/actresses are fine for me. Please only use the character names to address them (nothing like 'the younger', 'the older', 'the smaller', 'the latter', etc). Please only use third person POV (because I'm currently avoiding fics with first person POV).
I would like to write (pairings/friendships and prompts): I'm going to be completely honest and say that I can write Matsumiya and Ohmiya best. Then probably Aimiya and Sakumiya. I'm most comfortable writing slice-of-life-ish fic, then probably romance with slight drama (the cliche kind of love stories). I like writing action but I won't say that I'm good at that.

- Nino is a ruthless paparazzi photographer who has never thought twice about the effect he has on the lives of his targets - until the night he snaps a photo of an A-list celebrity’s supernatural secret.
- Nino is an overpowered superhero who is bored with it and really just wants to stay home (think One-Punch Man but with even less motivation) then a plucky sidekick or campy villian gets him back in the game?
- Any kind of con-artist Nino AU: current mark crosses paths with a past mark? ambiguously flirty relationship with a detective who’s trying to catch up with him? maybe he gave his con-artist life up years ago but now he’s gotta do One Last Job? I love all that shit.
Non-AU:
- Nino and one of the members have been sending really sexual text messages to each other (for way too long to pretend it’s a joke) and they’ve never talked about it face to face.
- Someone (likely Jun or Sho) convinces Nino to take a trip to New York or LA with them. That person doesn’t realize yet how complicated Nino’s feelings about America are.
- Nino has been taking on extra work in exchange for keeping one of the members out of trouble with the agency. That member finds out and confronts him about it.
(When it comes to non-AU I prefer either “getting together after years of sexual tension” or “we used to fool around back in the day but this is Different” kind of relationships)
If none of these prompts are working for you I promise really will love any fic that's focused on my general Nino likes:
- avoiding emotional intimacy like the plague (related: cracking jokes in romantic/sexual situations)
- playing the bad guy to save someone else’s face
- being a bit sleazy at times (the guy who says “if I’m alone with a girl I’ll become an American”)

If you want to make my day and write some smut for me, then I’ll let you know I’m a big fan of awkward/almost-failed first times that end well. I also love kink (particularly: improvised bondage, edging, praise) and I have a special place in my heart for accidentally discovering kinks.

When it comes to sex/kink, I’m hard to squick. If I had to pick something, I would say humiliation kink is kind of hit-or-miss for me.

Oddly specific ideas:
- Nino asks Aiba to deliver a love letter for him. Aiba misreads the address and ends up giving the letter to the wrong person. What happens next? Extra points if a) said person happens to be Nino's rival who secretly has a crush on him, or b) the letter included instructions to meet at a certain place, and the person goes even if they know the letter was not meant for them.
- The Nanny AU (yes, that sitcom from the 90's). I imagine Nino as Niles xD It doesn't necessarily have to go the way things ended in the sitcom though ;) (what if the nanny and the butler get together? or better: what if the butler and his boss get together? :O Impress me :P). Whatever you do, NO M-PREG PLEASE.
- One Piece AU. Arashi as the straw hat pirates. Nino as Nami, obviously. Jun as Sanji, Sho as Zoro. You choose who's Luffy and Usopp (I don't mind if you omit the rest of the crew haha). Would be awesome if this was OT3 ;)
- Fairytale-like setting. Especially if there's a legend about a fairy/genie/*insert here magical creature of your preference* called Tegoshi Yuya, and Nino doesn't believe in his existence until *insert here Arashi/NEWS member of your preference* (I'd choose either Aiba or Koyama, or both!) takes him in a journey in order to find the elusive Tegoshi. Whatever happens along the way, the people they meet, and whether Nino gets together with someone or not, is up to you.
- "It would be nice if there was a study guide for love," says *insert Arashi member of your preference here* after *insert situation that could explain it here*, who happens to be Nino's editor. "You should write it," he adds with a smirk. "I want the manuscript in on my desk in three months."
- Nino with superpowers. I don't care what he uses them for, but don't make him a conventional superhero. Don't turn him into a conventional villain either.
- ANY REFERENCE TO THE FACT THAT BOTH KAZAMA AND NINO SHARE THE SAME BIRTHDAY AND THAT THEY'RE BOTH FRIENDS WITH AIBA. You know what'd be even better? Nino trying to find out who Aiba congratulated first (and bragging if it was him/retaliating if he wasn't). (works for AU or non-AU).

I tend to gravitate toward drama/angst in my own writing and I do read a lot of those. Nonetheless, I have a soft spot for crack and humor, or any clever/creative stories.
Here are some prompts you can use to start your story but feel free not to include them if your imagination leads you somewhere else.

I'd really love to receive AiMiya - not only friendship, but more please. If this does absolutely not work for you, I'd be fine with SakuMiya too. MatsuMiya would be just fine but please, PLEASE no OhMiya. They can be friends or brothers, cousins, co-workers, whatever, just not a couple. Also not a former couple or a one-sided thing!
If you want side pairings, I LOVE JunToshi, if you don't go for AiMiya, you can always pair Aiba with Jun! I am not really fond of SakuMoto, so, please don't let them appear in any way.

Alright, here we go with the thing I can never explain well... but I'll try.
This time I am looking for an AU-story.
I am fond of several things, so I'll leave you a list.
- I really love fantasy and supernatural stuff. I don't really care what. If you turn them into elves, I'll love you. If they are wizards, I'll love you. If they are vampires. I'll love you. I will also love you if they are ghosts, werwolves, time travellers, shinigamis, angels, fairy godmothers, I'd be even fine with them being aliens. Whatever you come up with. I also like these bonding things (in whatever way you like).
- You don't necessarily have to write a historical story, but I like it when there are places in the story, that are "old". Like a bookstore or a café that has old interior. Or a building. Or just a room, a car, furniture, an old tree... something that makes you think you're in a different century, even if it's just for a short moment.
- I really want this to be a cute, fluffy, romantic story. There has to be at least a kiss in it, but you can go further if it goes with the flow. Even then, please make it sweet.
- I like Arashi to be in the age as they are now. Please refrain from writing them as boys (flashbacks are okay though).
- I am always in if there is a good portion of humor in the story. If you can make me smile or laugh, wou'll be my hero(ine) for sure.
- I need a Happy Ending. Seriously, please don't leave me with any negative or unresolved stuff. I want them to be happy together!
Alright... now, if you want some prompts, I'll leave you some of my ideas here, but if you already have a different plotline in your head, GO AHEAD!
