First of all, please accept my deepest apologies for starting the party late (and for not posting about it directly on the comm; I know not everyone here is on Twitter/following the NinoEx account, and I'm sure there were plenty of folks left wondering what exactly happened). Believe me when I say that I'm probably the most upset and frustrated out of anyone that we couldn't get going on time; though quite a bit has happened in the seven years this exchange has existed, this is the first time we've ever had to postpone the start of posting like this.

But your mod had a Bad Weekend, and it seems like it's been a rough season for many participants as well, so here we are, half a week late. I'm so sorry I left you all hanging.

Today was my tepid return to the real world, and tomorrow we'll start the party. Hopefully a few glorious Nino fics will get us all back on our feet again.
