Let the writing begin!

The assignments are finally, finally out. Thanks to everyone for being such good sports about having such a scattered mod. Now we can finally get under way with our Nino party! Please let me know if you haven't received your assignment (in an e-mail from "Nino Mod" or as otherwise specified).

We've got a record number of writers signed up this year -- a fantastic mix of regular (or returning) faces and new faces! I've seen a few mentions that this exchange is intimidating to join because of the quality of fic, which is both very flattering as the mod (though really all I do is collect what people write) and kind of disheartening because intimidation/pressure is the opposite of what I want for you! I'm here to make sure everyone's comfortable and feels like they've got the support system they need to have fun writing, so do let me know if there's anything I can do to make this a good experience for you. :3.

At any rate, our magic number is the usual due date of June 10th (even though we're off to such a late start; sorry about that). I'll do the usual check-ins here and on Twitter, and you can reach me however you need to through those channels as well as via ninoexchange@gmail.com, LJ PM, etc. I am here and ready to serve all of your needs, Nino and otherwise!
