ninoexchange | Sign-ups 2019

The big news in Japan right now is that the new era name was just announced. It officially begins May 1, so this will be the first Nino Exchange of Reiwa! Otherwise, everything else is the same as always. XD. Which with any luck means good, clean (or sexy, depending on your preference) Nino-ful fun ahead!

Here's the Rules/FAQ for anyone who needs them, last year's sign-ups for reference, and the usual the sign-up format below:

Pairings/friendships I'd like to receive:
# For romance, my favorite is Nino/Jun and (this year I'm having a lot of feelings for) Nino/Ohno but if they don't work for you, I’d gladly take Nino/Sho or Nino/Aiba—in that exact order of preference; # For friendship, I’d take any pairing of Nino within Arashi, or even Nino-centric gen Arashi.

(more or less copy pasta from my usual exchange signup, sorry. :D) I’m generally up for romance, comedy, and light dose of angst. With the spirit of the slogan "life is hard dakara happy", life is not flashy at all; it sometimes is mundane and complicated--clue in the story from here to reach the happy ending. Everyday life aspects in any way is highly appreciated; I enjoy story with abundant of simple everyday details. I don’t necessarily need a grandeur ending, but simple but satisfying resolution can be as good as the splashy fireworks finale.

I like everyday stories involving combination of (unusual) professions—train professionals, small-time designers, group of paralegals instead of just lawyers, phone sex operator; or stories with specific setup/settings (for some ideas: in outer-space, Victorian era, somewhere in a remote Japan places, magical forest, as global nomads, or in any quirky world/universe you feel suitable for the story :D). I like any AU involving food (restaurant universe, food tv program, rival chefs), involving service (be it web/online service, dating/escort service, retail stuff) or involving television/film/camera work (game show, film production team, photography agency, or others).

I also enjoy reading these random tropes/universes: subtle magick in modern everyday universe, wizarding world, slow burn (established) relationship in which a new couple trying to settle into new routine, quirky office AU, steampunk, (comical) police/detective/spy, magical gender-bending, cross dressing for the fun of it. I also love unconventional fic or a piece that's not limiting its form/narrative to usual prose narrative. Also, if you need a (detailed) kink list, please have the mod contacted me. :)

I like: when Nino is ‘conserving’ his physical energy and being smart about it; when Nino has other people do his errands, when Nino has to do other’s people errand and being difficult about it when he actually is okay with it, and; when Nino is shy about him being nice to people and try to appear distant when he actually cares, a lot.

Several very random AU prompts:
- ‘Love So Sweet PV’ AU, featuring mannequin Arashi
- Nino as a good boss man/leader (I’ll leave it you how the setup would be)
- Actor Nino in any production AU is <3! or Musician Nino finds a rival/partner and gets creatively challenged.
- Wise Nino always spouted great quotes for More Magazine when he actually spent three days thinking about it’ or Struggling Writers AU
- ‘Nino’s routine of trying to decipher his neighbour’s wifi passwords every morning because the guy kept on changing them daily what an ass’ neighbour-turn-spy AU.

Basically I’m just throwing a lot of stuff up there, so it’d be easier to mixmatch, permutate, or work in anything my writer fancy for the fic. More than anything, have fun <3!

Prompts: Genres, situations, storylines, kinks, etc. I WOULD NOT like to receive: No excessive sad things in general or sad things without resolution; I’m okay with light dose of angst, but I do not want to read a sad story. No sad things, especially any mention of the hiatus in any (fictional) permutation. No characters death (just keep everyone alive in the story, plz). I don't want crossover fic, or fic involving major role OC, or heavy angst. No highschool/university AU, no post-apocalyptic and dystopia, no canon Arashi chibi days. Avoid first person POV if you can. Also no to fic involving non-con, mpreg, drug use, rape, gore, horror elements.

I would like to write (pairings/friendships and prompts):
In general; I prefer writing AU, focusing on Arashi dynamics--or Nino pairing within Arashi. This year specifically I’m in the mood to write Nino/Ohno. Or the usual preference of Nino/Jun. I’m still willing to write other pairs if that’s what the assignment is though. :D

I WILL NOT write (pairings/friendships and prompts):
Everything I don't want to receive, I will not write. I also will not write Nino with his JE kouhai, or unfamiliar (both male or female) celebrity.

Rating preference (written and received):
I’ll try my best to write my recipient preference. I am fine with receiving any rating though—straight up porn is appreciated, or if you want to PG it, at least please give me one kiss scene.
