Title: Love Without Love
Pairing/Focus: Matsumoto x Ninomiya - Ninomiya x Ohno
Rating: G
Warnings: oneside love
Summary: Ninomiya is Matsumoto’s legal partner. But behind, He has Ohno as his lover.
Notes: Hi! I try making Matsumoto x Ninomiya x Ohno but I am sorry I cant make it exactly what you want. I hope you like it. The title, I take it from Nu’EST’s Song, Love without love. There is an entertaintment company name ONO Entertaintment. But in here, it doesn’t mean that one, I just make it as pronouncation of Ohno’s name.
Matsumoto opens his eyes to find the other side of the bed empty. He goes straight to the bathroom to clean himself. Once he is dressed in his suit, he goes out, finding his spouse in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.
"Morning," Matsumoto says, kissing the other's cheek.
The other just nods and places a cup of coffee down. "I made pancakes. You like them, don't you?"
They eat in silence, as usual.
"Nino, I can't have dinner at home tonight."
Ninomiya only looks up, and nods. "You fine?" Matsumoto adds.
"Sure, why not? It's not my problem who you end up with tonight."
Matumoto sips his coffee. "I'll get going," he says finally.
Just before he gets out, he catches Nino saying something. "I will go out with Ohno later this day."
Matsumoto Jun is the heir of one of the biggest entertainment companies in Japan. He married Ninomiya Kazunari 6 months ago. The marriage itself was business. Matsumoto never thought the marriage would last more than 3 months, but here they are.
Matsumoto was a playboy. He changed partners and never had the same person for 2 nights. He never settled to commit. But then Ninomiya came. Unlike his previous lover, Nino is not demanding, and more slack and doesn't care. He found something different from Ninomiya, something interesting enough to not have any partner for his night for a week.
Matsumoto didn't believe in love. He buried it down, years ago when the girl he liked cheated on him. But Ninomiya came. Ninomiya never gives him attention like the girl he used to love. But he wants Ninomiya to give him attention.
Matsumoto didn't know he would fall for Nino. But it started when he learned that he never gets anything from Nino. Because Nino has another person. The person that Nino loves.
Matsumoto met him 2 months ago as his client. That one client, was more than a client, he was Ninomiya's boyfriend for 3 years, and still going. But because it was a business meeting, Matsumoto couldn't do anything.
2 months ago, Matsumoto braced himself to ask who Ohno Satoshi is. And with guts, Nino said, "He is the man that I love." And with that, the interview was done. On the other hand, it was like Nino was finalizing the "I will never love you."
There is one thing that makes Matsumoto have hope. He made a contract with Nino days before their marriage that they may live how they want, but they can't file a divorce at least for the first 2 years. Matsumoto has 2 years to make the other fall for him.
Matsumoto is a person who will never lose. There isn't "lose" in his dictionary. That's why, when it comes for Nino, he will not lose, right?
"Matsumoto-san," Sakurai, his secretary, enters his room, bringing a handful of folders.
"What's that?"
Sakurai puts down the folders. "This is the file about the company we put in stock and invested in, and also, the company we help for producing, distributing, and their promotion."
Matsumoto only nods before telling Sakurai to get out.
That day, he knows he actually doesn't have an appointment for dinner. He just doesn't want to come home and only find cold dishes from a convenience store.
"Busy tonight? Sakurai?"
Sakurai turns to see his boss. "Not really, boss. Any problem?"
"Let grab some drinks."
Sakurai and Matsumoto go to a high-end bar near their company. They order a few drinks before the conversations start.
"There is something you want to talk to me about, boss?"
Matsumoto laughs. "Drop the boss. It's not working time."
Sakurai pours the liquor into his own glass. "Then, what do you want to talk about, Jun?"
"You know Ohno Satoshi, right?"
Sakurai thinks for a while. Yes, Matsumoto doesn't share about Ninomiya's love life with his secretary.
"Ohno Satoshi from ONO company and Show? Isn't their biggest share us? We help them with distributing and promotion too, right?"
Matsumoto nods. "Any problems with that company's boss? I never heard they were down in sales."
Matsumoto sips his drink. "No, not at all. I just want to hear your opinion about them." Sakurai nods.
That night, Matsumoto is still quite sober when he enters his room. He finds Nino already sleeping. Despite their relationship, they still manage to sleep in the same bed.
Matsumoto looks at the other man, and when his eyes travel down, he sees some red marks on Nino's white shoulder. He sighs as he proceeds to loosen up his tie.
"I don't know how people are so blind, telling me that we are meant to be with each other. Can they really not see it?"
The next day goes as usual. They have breakfast together. Matsumoto still gives an excuse that he will not coming home again, and Nino, being Nino, doesn't care.
That day in particular, Ohno's company file ends up on his desk. As his job, he studies the file meticulously.
Matsumoto doesn't have time to sign the paper about the investment in Ohno's company when the clock rings, alerting him that working hours are over.
Matsumoto takes out his phone to text Nino.
Jun : I am not coming home for dinner. Will be having it outside with Sho. Don't need to leave food for me.
He doesn't expect an answer, but it comes,
Nino : I am having dinner with Satoshi. Outside. Want to have date. Don't know whether I'm coming home or not.
If Matsumoto didn't remember he needs his phone, it would be crushed already. He turns his gaze toward Ohno's company file. He takes it and reads it again for the second time that day.
At 8 pm, he hears someone knock his room, though he'd thought everyone had already gone home. "Enter."
Sakurai enters, and from the look of it, Sakurai is ready to go home. "You still in here? Why?"
"There is some email I need to get done."
"Well, I am going home now. Gonna sleep in the office, Jun?"
Matsumoto walks toward his coffee machine. "I'm making a big decision. And I want you to do it the first thing tomorrow morning."
Sakurai closes the door and sits on the sofa. "I'm listening,"
Matsumoto take Ohno's file from his desk and gives it to Sakurai. Diligently Sakurai opens and reads it. Until the last page, where he frowns. "You haven't signed yet?" he asks.
Matsumoto sits in his chair, and he turns to see the big window that shows Tokyo's night sky. "I'm not gonna sign it. I will withdraw all our investment in ONO Company and Show starting tomorrow. Yes, this is my decision and I'm doing it without consulting with the board. But I've already made the decision."
"Why? We don't have problems with them, as far as I know."
Matsumoto smirks. "Their latest shows have not been that successful. And also, JStorm contacted me, and they want me to become their partner with great benefits. Moreover, the show from Jstorm's group is more popular than ONO's."
"Can't we invest in both of them?"
"JStorm specifically told me to only support them. And you know, if ONO's Show keeps decreasing, we need to sell our stock at a cheap price. Instead, I'll withdraw first before it happens."
Sakurai looks like he is thinking. "What are you thinking, Sho?"
"Isn't it awful? 25% of ONO's stock is ours. If we withdraw everything, doesn't that mean we'll kill them?"
Matsumoto raises his eyebrow. "Then? This is business, Sho, and we want to survive. It's their problem, not ours."
"How about the contract? Are we breaking the contract?"
Matsumoto shows him the contract paper. "No, here, look. The primary party can decide whether they will continue the contract or not, and second party can't disagree. And since it's the precise time, we can just say that we will no longer continue the contract."
"What happened to you, Jun? It's unlike you."
Matsumoto doesn't answer, and he keeps looking out the big window. Little does Sakurai know, Matsumoto keeps smirking while seeing car headlights on the road below.
The next morning, Ninomiya opens his eyes beside his lover, Ohno, who is still soundly sleeping. He pat Ohno's cheek with his finger, making the other stir and wake up from his sleep.
"Morning," Nino says, giving the other a kiss on the lips.
Ohno grunts, "I'm still sleepy."
Laughing, Nino wakes up and sits in the bed. "Aren't you going to work today?"
Ohno mumbles into the pillow before muttering, "Need to go to a meeting with your husband."
Nino only smiles and get out of the bed. He walk to bathroom. "I'll take a bath first."
Ohno takes his phone to contact his assistant, asking when he needs to meet with Matsumoto.
"Morning, Aiba."
"Oh, Ohno-san. Morning." Aiba's voice sounds rushed and unusual.
"I just need to ask, when's the time I need to meet with Matsumoto? I think I'll drive straight to his office. I am not going to stop by the office."
Instead of answering Ohno, Aiba keeps silent. "Aiba?"
"Ohno-san. There is a problem. But I am not sure yet."
"What is it?"
"There was a call from Matsumoto's private assistant. He said they will withdraw all of their investment in our company."
Ohno freezes right after Aiba says that very word, withdraw.
"Are you sure? But today is the day I will meet with Matsumoto-san to talk about our contract."
"I know that too. But, they specifically said you don't need to meet with Matsumoto-san because they will withdraw their investment. I'm sorry Ohno-san."
Ohno can't say any more. "I'll call you later Aiba."
Just right after Ohno cuts the line, Nino comes out from the bathroom, looking fresh. He frowns seeing Ohno all pale.
"Something wrong?" he asks.
Ohno turns to look at him. "What's wrong with your husband?"
"What do you mean?"
Ohno gets up from the bed, looking straight at his lover. "He stopped all his investment in my company."
"What?!"
"Yes. My stock is down because 25% of my stock is gone. There will be a drop in my company's stock. I am doomed, Nino! I am doomed!"
Nino looks at his lover who is shouting in despair. "Calm down. Calm down, I'll talk to him. I will help you, I will talk to him. I'll go to his office right now."
Nino changes his clothes, takes his bag and key. "I will help you, Satoshi. I promise you."
Nino drive to Matsumoto's office. The employees are really shocked, seeing their boss's spouse come to the office.
"Sakurai! Matsumoto is inside, isn’t he?" Nino asks directly as soon as he gets out from the elevator.
"Oh, Ninomiya-san? Yes, Matsumoto-sama is inside."
Nino storms inside. He is furious, seeing his husband doing his work leisurely.
"What did you do?"
Matsumoto looks up. "Oh, you are here? Why? Miss me?"
"I asked you, Matsumoto! What did you do?"
Matsumoto raises his eyebrow. "I did what? I did a lot of things? Can't you see my desk?"
Nino senses that his husband is playing with him. "Why did you withdraw all of your investment from Ohno's company?"
"Ah, ONO company and show? Yes, I just withdrew all my investment from there. Any problem? It shouldn't be your problem, right?"
"Why?"
"Because I wanted to? It's my money. I should put it in the best place where I can get more profit, right?"
"Even if that mean it'll destroy another person's life?" Nino's voice is getting down.
Matsumoto gets up from his seat, and he lean his body into his desk, his eyes piercing into Nino's. "Whose life am I destroying? Ohno's? Or yours?"
"Is it because of me?"
"Hm?"
Nino gets down on his knees. "I beg you, Matsumoto, please."
"What can you offer me? You can't divorce me, and even if you could, you can't repay the penalty, so offering 'husband's duty' is out of the question. "
Nino keeps silence and he still bowing on his knees. "Please, Matsumoto, I beg you to invest again."
Matumoto walks toward his husband, and he ducks so his lips are right in Nino's right ear. "I will do everything it takes to make you mine. Even if that includes destroying your own life so you have no other option except to turn on me."
Then, he leaves Nino in his room, crying.

I don't know what i should feel right now. While i feel sorry for Ohno that he will lose his company (ok, i don't really get all the business term), but i can't get mad at jun for being selfish either. He lives Nino but Nino just...stubborn(?). Gosh. They're married for god sake. He should treat jun better.
To writer-san.... I'm being selfish here, but hopefully you can write a continuation for this once this exchange is over. lol. Don't mind me.
Thanks a lot for writing this. You make my emotion goes wild and kept thinking about this for a while XD
