Fic due in a month!

Hello, friends! This is just a reminder (particularly to the writers) that there's a month left before fic for Nino Exchange is due! If you haven't already started working on your fic, it might be a good idea to get conceptualizing and writing. And if you haven't opened your assignment e-mail, uh... you should do that.

Please remember that your fic needs to be beta read, so if you still need help finding a beta reader, hit me up and I'll find someone for you. If unfortunately you find that you need to drop out for whatever reason, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can find a pinch hitter to write in your stead. I'd prefer to hear from you on either of these points by June 3rd.

I hope you all are pushin' through, with fic and otherwise. As always, I'm available if you have any questions or concerns, or if you want to attack your recipient with questions, or if you plain need a cheerleader. E-mail (ninoexchange@gmail.com) or LJ PM will do just fine.

I'll check in again in June, and then beautiful Nino fic will be imminent! :3.

I might have to drop out, unless some miracle happens and my computer fixes itself. i already wrote the fic weeks ago, but have yet to get it beta-ed and how am I supposed to send it anywhere when my computer is pretty much dead. :| I'm kinda pissed, idk when I'll get a new one.

When exactly was the deadline? I'm holding on to the vain hope of getting a new computer before June D:

Oh no. D: That'd be a shame if you had to drop out just because of your computer. Hopefully it pulls itself together sooner than later.

The deadline is June 10th for completed (written, betaed, revised) fic, and posting begins on the 17th. Though if that just isn't possible given your computer situation, I'd be able to give you an extension if you end up needing one.

If there's any news in either direction, keep me updated? Otherwise I'll see how things are going with you at the beginning of June, and maybe we'll figure out more concretely whether we can pull this off. I'm hoping for the best, though!

I really like what I wrote too.. :C damn my computer, it decides to die at the worst time.

An extension would be lovely. I'll keep you updated and let's hope for the best. :D
