Oh boy, anon. I feel like my heart took a very similar path to Nino's in this story. I was so heartbroken for him and horrified about how crushing the entire situation with Jun was that I was struggling to decide if I could even root for the two of them or not. Or if all I really wanted was closure for them. But as the story went on, and you gave us Jun's reasons, I began to empathize. I am so close to my family, and they've been with me much longer than any relationship - to see even a glimmer of opportunity to save that? If I wasn't fully in my right mind, yeah. It was still definitely wrong of Jun to do, but I appreciate that Nino has a forgiving heart.

Not to mention, you made it very apparent for us that the two of them only wanted each other. If the conflict had been anything else, it might not have been a situation they could overcome, but you were very clever and careful about how you set up every piece of this story. I really applaud you for that!

I love that you have them talk through not only that big obstacle of what Jun did, but also what Nino saw as troublesome from his first go-around as well. It was nice to see him reflect on his own actions and what he truly wanted from a relationship, so they can get an even better foundation under them this time around. Such a great story, thanks for the emotional read!
