Anon! You managed to highlight some really beautiful parts of life in a story about an awful happening, and I think that's great. I loved Nino and Aiba's conversation about how things had been before - it was so interesting to hear about how their lives had some emptiness, with Nino not taking chances and Aiba feeling as if his closest friendships had become a business partnership first and foremost. Of course they still miss their old lives, but being able to see the positive side to their situation is so very human.
I hope that now that they are five, they'll be able to put their heads together and come up with more ideas for how to survive and live happily together. And I'm glad Nino and Aiba didn't really miss out on love <3
