omg anon, I adored this fic, fjdsklf. I had so so so much fun reading it, and I got so caught up in these characters and what was going on! Nino is absolutely wonderful, and the fact that he gave up everything to save Pet made me sniffly, but I also really loved Sho, ahhhh, his reactions to Nino were just PERFECT, how he was bored before meeting him and then irritated about the wine and then like, wait, who is this interesting person! And how he always helped Nino, and waited for him to tell the truth, and believed in him~ And then when Nino confesses to his crimes in the pool, I JUST, omfg, I just almost couldn't take it, when Nino's done and Sho is like, hold up while I back you up against a wall (IN THE POOL) and be intensely swoonworthy before kissing the hell out of you, fjkldsafjaslk. Their night together is so romantic, and they know they have to part, but oh gosh, Nino really did rescue Pet and get the dragon to its own kind, and Sho waited~ (And Aiba helped cover for Nino, I loved that!) And THEN to have Sho get off the ship and see Nino LEANING THERE ALL BEAUTIFUL AND CHARMING AND NINO, and they are SO HAPPY and fulfilled to see each other again, I totally believe their amazing chemistry and connection!! Even though Nino gave up his home to save Pet, there is a real feeling that he's found a new one by Sho's side, wherever they go. I LOVE THEM.
