Assignments out! + Moving to DW

Writers, you should all have received your assignments for Nino Exchange 2017! Please check your e-mail inboxes (and possible spam folders :(. ) for a message from Nino Mod. If I've missed you, let me know! Hopefully everyone's got something they can work with, but if not, shoot me a message and I'll do my best to make things work. If you just need more information from your recipient, hit me up to hit them up so that we can get you as many ideas to work with as possible.

As mentioned in the assignment e-mails, Nino Exchange is officially making the transition to DreamWidth. LiveJournal has been unkind (especially with the new Terms of Service/User Agreement that's making many people feel very uncomfortable even being on the site), so we'll be using DW as the main base from now on. I'll be cross-posting everything to the community on LJ with links to the corresponding DW posts, where I hope to keep all of the comments consolidated (instead of having different comments on different sites).

If you have a DreamWidth account, please plan to follow/read/comment/participate here! It functions the same as always, now just on what a friend of mine recently characterized as "the nice version of LJ".

If you have a LiveJournal account and you can't/don't plan to have an account on DW, you can still follow the action on LJ through the cross-posts, though I'll have to ask you to please leave comments on the corresponding DW posts instead. LJ members can post comments on DW by signing in through OpenID and authenticating their accounts via e-mail (let me know if you need help with this step), so please do plan to still participate even if you don't plan to leave LJ.

Moving to DW and cross-posting to LJ seems like it will be the best solution for most people (and their peace of mind). I know it might be a bit of a transition and some extra work to get things going, especially for those of you staying on LJ, but I hope everyone feels more comfortable with DW in general. Thanks so much for your cooperation, and of course, please let me know if you need anything from me on this, that, and the other thing.

Now, writers, have at it! :3.
