I have to admit it took me a bit time to fully dive into this universe (not your fault, just me when I'm reading fantasy genre) but it was definitely interesting and I enjoyed all the magical traits of the characters and the setting. Nino with wings *___* aw~
I felt sorry for Nino and Aiba being forced to live apart due to Nino's job but I also can see why Nino doesn't want to waste his powers and accepted. I adore him and Jun as a team, they must be really strong! Too bad that one case went so horribly wrong, poor them for having such a traumatizing experience, especially Nino =( It's good he has a place to come home. The slow pace of the story and the focus on the consequences of that case are nice and something different to an action-filled story. I liked the focus on the comforting atmosphere between Nino and Aiba and I liked that you showed that despite all the magic around and in them, the characters are first and foremost people.
