I really wanted the textures of the time to feel real and close so I’m glad it worked for you ❤️ Aaaah, I thought it was fitting for the time period and for Nino’s quietly conflicted feelings and the general society of their time; how they had wars and lived with conflict but their world was so much slower and calmer than ours. Also it was so fitting for the tone to match the motif of the sakura blossoms throughout Nino’s visit as they bloomed and faded away but ah I ramble. I’m just really happy that you enjoyed that part of my writing too.

Yesssss, I have a theory that Matsumiya are automatically super domestic bc Nino is an embarrassing homebody and MJ is just the next domestic god lbr here, and “fall into each other’s lives” is such a lovely way to put it *A* Omg yes, I’m glad you agree. I had this whole scene in my head of drunk MJ flopping over Nino’s lap to tell him how funny he is and Nino’s like “yes, yes I know you tell me that every time you drink too much. why is my boyfriend like this” but secretly he loves it anyway.
