Ohhhh. Anon, this is beautiful and perfect. I love the long slow burn, the normality of Nino's feelings against the backdrop of an intricately beautiful world that is decidedly not 'normal' in all the senses of the word. I love your world-building, it is so detailed and incredibly well-crafted I could imagine step in and coming through the other side. I adore your characterisation of them; I usually can't get into Sho-prominent fics but in this one he's so much more than his organisation and his ~skills~ and I just. Wow. You transplanted the characters we know and love into this world that is both dark, and bright at the best of times, and I can imagine this version of them living and breathing.
