This is so beautifully written. I loved the style you used here - it felt cool and detached but that was what made it so powerful. It's complicated for them to have friendships and alliances in a world like this and it made me feel terrible for all of them but glad that they at least had each other (and Keiko too). I wanted to see more in this 'verse because it's just so compelling! Great fic, anon. Thank you for sharing (and definitely wouldn't be opposed if you felt like writing more)!
